Eddie Tuffin will be your in-house Chef during your stay, and when he is not in the kitchen lovingly preparing your evening meal he can be found either hanging from a rock face or hurtling down a mountainside on his bike or skis.
Being passionate about the great outdoors and cuisine, Eddie understands more than most, the body's need for a healthy nutritional meal at the end of a great day in the mountains and we guarantee you will be delighted and even the biggest of appetites will be satisfied.
Eddie's concept is simple, everything is prepared from scratch using only locally sourced ingredients where possible. He is constantly adjusting his menu according to the seasonal availability of local produce. He loves nothing more than tending our vegetable garden or foraging in the woods for wild herbs and plants to accompany his dishes.
Having been classically trained at chefs school and graduating in 1997, Eddie used his trade to travel the world learning many different cooking styles and techniques along the way. Today this is clearly visible in his menus, combining a perfect balance of classical and world cuisine dishes.
All dietary needs can be catered for, but we do ask our guests to kindly notify us at the time of booking of any specific requirements needed and although all of our dishes are cooked to the same high standard we do understand that our younger guests may prefer a simplified version of our menu.
